Google Chrome Apps

If you use Google Chrome these applications may be just the ticket for you. When I first opened the link to the Chrome app store I was a little overwhelmed by the number that were available and didn't really want to spend a lot of time reading all those descriptions and reviews. So I did some outside searching and found a few juicy ones and have spent a little time "messing about" with them. I will continue to search and play and let you know what I find.
To find these apps search for Chrome Web Store.

Weebly

This page was actually created using Weebly. You don't have to know HTML (the web programming language) to make a nice page. It is actually kind of fun and the help pages are actually helpful. It uses a lot of pictures and not a lot of jargon to get you published.

Slide Rocket

This app creates presentations(think PowerPoint or Presenter). It has a very similar interface to those programs. So why bother with this one? It has different backgrounds and you can look at  different samples. It also saves to their site and opens Google doc presentations. It is web based so you can carry presentations between your Mac and PC.

Lucidchart: Diagramming

Create concept  webs and flowcharts. I found this easier to use than the one on the Mac's.

Scratchpad

Write notes, make to do lists - they get saved to Google docs so you can see them wherever you can get Google.
